Angela Conrad is the Clinical Director with the Physician Assistant (PA) program at EVMS. In her role as clinical director, she transitions didactic students into the clinical phase of the program, mentors struggling students, and guides students into clinical practice upon graduation.
She developed a passion for medicine and pursued a career as a PA. Previously, she spent 10 years practicing in emergency medicine and transitioned to academia. Her passion in teaching focuses on mentoring students and educating future and current providers on the appropriate identification and treatment of patients and families affected by substance use disorders.
She lives in Virginia Beach with her husband, Jon, and two young boys. They enjoy sports, traveling and spending time at the beach. One of our favorite trips includes our road trip to Maine this past summer. We enjoyed seeing the countryside and beautiful states along the way. During the school year, we enjoy time together playing card games and board games together.
