Stephanie Moody Antonio, MD, FACS practices Otology and Neurotology in Virginia Beach and Norfolk, Virginia as associate professor with Eastern Virginia Medical School. She is a graduate of Indiana University School of Medicine and completed residency training at the University of Pittsburgh followed by a neurotology fellowship with the House Ear Group. Her clinical practice includes both children and adults and is affiliated with Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters as well as EVMS Medical Center. She leads the cochlear implant team at EVMS and manages the Hearing Aid Assistance Program for CHEAR, a non-profit she co-founded. She serves on the editorial board of Otology & Neurotology and is reviewer for several other journals. She has been the recipient of several awards including Influential Women of Virginia, Healthcare Heroes and Top Doctors. She is a fellow with both the American College of Surgeons and the American Neurotology Society. She is also a member of the American Cochlear Implant Alliance where she serves as the state champion for the Virginia. She is past-president of Tidewater Otolaryngology Society and currently serves as Governor for the society to the AAO-HNS Board of Governors. She is Chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee and member of the Education Committee and Executive Council for American Neurotology Society. She is author of many book chapters and peer-reviewed articles and is PI for several clinical trials, including the ValEAR trial.
