  • Ms. Paulson is involved in implementing and conducting research on evidence-based healthy communities' state and regional policy, systems and environmental change projects, as well as a myriad of projects on asthma, diabetes, obesity and maternal/infant health. She is interested in health promotion, behavior, and social justice as it applies to community systems and policies, particularly in under-served populations.

  • Amy Paulson has over 24 years' experience in public health program management. Ms. Paulson has served as Executive Director of the Consortium for Infant and Child Health (CINCH) since 2006 and is an Instructor in the Department of Pediatrics at Eastern Virginia Medical School. She holds Bachelor's degrees in Business in Health Care Administration and in Psychology, both from Appalachian State University, and a Masters of Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
