  • Dr. Glasgow holds both a Ph D in Education (Early Childhood concentration) and a Masters of Science in Education (Early Childhood concentration) from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, VA as well as a Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Special Education (PreK-4) from Longwood University, Farmville, VA. Her professional experiences include 10 years of public school teaching in Kindergarten, Developmental First, and First Grade; home child care provider; Adjunct Faculty at Tidewater Community College; Director of Tidewater Community College Child Development Lab and Old Dominion University Children's Learning and Research Center; Independent Consulting for Evaluation and Professional Development and Training for early childhood settings; and Executive Director of Minus 9 to 5, a Collective Impact initiative.

  • Research interests include systems building approaches in the early childhood years, including children's health, family supports, early learning environments, community connections, and policy and advocacy.



    Current research is related our community convening around early childhood and understanding the current landscape and experiences for families with young children. Additionally, focus on community level data to understand the impact of this collective impact initiative and outcomes for children prenatally to age 5.
